You can use AuctionLinc’s Analytics Module to measure your Sales Trends as well as Top Selling Products and Markets. Users can look at their Sales Trends on a day-by-day basis to get a micro level view of their sales or can change their view to a Monthly View which provides a Month over Month sales comparisons and trends.

Go to Sales->Analytics Page to look at your Sales Trends.

The Analytics Module/ Page is divided into three separate sections. Here is each of the section explained: -

Sales Trend (Daily & Monthly)

This section shows you your Sales Trend on by period-by- period basis. The period type selection can be Daily or Monthly. The trend chard shows you aggregate total sales for each period shown on the chart. The number of periods (Days or Months) shown on the Chart are calculated based on the Period chosen in the Period Drop down.

For Daily view, the periods shown will be 14 days starting from selected Day, going backwards.

For Monthly view, the periods shown will be 12 months starting from the selected Month, going backwards.

You can switch between Daily or Monthly Period type by clicking on Daily/ Monthly button in the Analytics Menu.

You can choose the current period from the Day/ Month drop down on the Analytics Menu.

You can hover over each period to get an actual sales amount value for that Period.

You can also switch the Chart view between a Bar Chart and Line chart using the Chart Type option on the Analytics Menu.

Top Products

This section shows you a distribution of your Sales for the currently selected period by Product. The selected Period can be a Day or Month based on the options selected in Analytics Menu.

The Product column shows the SKU of the product. The Sales column shows the aggregated sales amount for that product for the selected Period. The % change column shows the period over period change in Sales for that Product.

The %change is calculated as shown below: -

For Daily View, the %change is calculated as

(Market Sales for the currently selected Day of the Week– Market Sales on the same day of the Week prior Week) divided byMarket Sales on the same day of the Week prior Week.

For Monthly View, the %change is calculated as

(Product Sales for the currently selected Month – Product Sales for the same Month previous Year) divided byProduct Sales for the same Month previous year.

Top Markets

This section shows you a distribution of your Sales by Buyer Country, for the selected Period. The selected Period can be a Day or Month based on the options selected in Analytics Menu.

The Market column shows the Country where the buyers are located. The Sales column shows the aggregated sales amount for that Market for the selected Period. The % change column shows the period over period change in Sales for that Market.

The %change is calculated as shown below: -

For Daily View, the %change is calculated as
