AuctionLinc offers two ways to upload your Item images.

Simple Uploader - A very simple Flash based Image Uploader. No Image Editing capabilities are available in this Uploader.

Advanced Uploader – An advanced Java Applet based Image Uploader with image editing features.

Advanced Uploader has the additional features of editing your images before you upload. You can do following edit actions on an Image: -

• Crop
• Resize
• Apply Effects
• Rotate

Advanced Uploader is a Java Applet based Uploader and requires Java Plugin to be installed on your browser. A Java Plugin is very similar to a Flash plugin required to run Flash in the browser.

Here are the steps to edit your Images in Advanced Uploader :-

Step 1: Launch Advanced Uploader by going to Images -> Advanced Uploader page.

The browser will ask you to confirm the launch of the applet. You must install Advanced Uploader Applet before you can use it. Click on Allow button to allow Uploader applet to be launched in your browser.

Step 2: Select Images from your local PC/ Mac for Upload/ Edit.

As a second step, you should select the images you want to edit. Add the images in to the lower panel using the “+” button as shown below and click on Edit button as highlighted.

Step 3: Edit and Save the Image

Make changes to the image in the Image Editor. See below an example of a Crop operation in process:-

You can perform Crop, Resize and Rotate operations using the toolbar in the Image Editor.

Once done with image editing, click on “Save” button in the toolbar to save edited images on your local PC/ Mac.

Close the image editor by clicking on the “x” button in the toolbar.

Once back to the main screen of Image Uploader, you can now select the newly saved Image for upload.
