How Email Notifications Work

 

AuctionLinc allows you to send email notifications to your buyers when certain actions happen with a Sale. Following types of notifications can be sent to the buyers: -

  • Winning Bidder Notification – This notification is an email notifying the buyer of the item when one of your item gets sold.
  • Thank you Payment Notification – An email that sends a Payment Received email to the buyer when a sale takes place.

    You can turn on these two notifications by going to My Account -> Settings page.


  • Item Shipped Notification - An email notification that can be sent to the buyer when you mark the Item as shipped. See the option to send this notification in the “Enter Shipping Details” dialog below: -

  • Payment Reminder Notification – You can send an email to the buyer requesting a Payment for an item he/ she bought from you.
  • Feedback Reminder Notification – You can send this email requesting a Feedback from a Buyer if he/ she has not posted one for a transaction.

    Payment And Feedback Reminder Notifications can be sent from Sales -> “Sales History” page, using respective action from the Actions menu as shown below: -
